Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm We will provide phone
support, modem/dialup
support that includes: operations, manager functions, basic program
changes, tax rate changes,
error message resolution, application support, platform and network
support. If your support
requests are out-of-scope from this plan, you will receive a 25% discount
from the billable amount.
Not Covered: Unauthorized program and database changes.
Damage to the operating system and
database due to user error, power outage, lightning, flood fire,
wind, virus, mis-operation, custom
applications
This fee is for 24 x 7 technical support
that specializes in trouble-shooting any problems that may
arise with credit card batches. This is provided through a company called
Merchant
Link. Merchant
Link handles all support for credit card issues with Micros products. They
offer batch re-key services
if batches are lost, corrupted, deleted or duplicated.
Covered:
This is a license that entitles Micros customers to receive
each new software release and
all, ”bug”, fixes at no charge. (Labor not included) While there may be a
charge to implement new
features or train staff on enhancements, the software is provided under
SEL
Without SEL, your
software is basically frozen in time. No new features or fixes will be
available without re-purchase
of the complete software suite. This can be very costly. It is the
end-users responsibility to request
software up-grades.
Covered:
Our Automated Backup Database service will automatically
backup a copy of your Micros
database located on your Micros Point Of Sale server and send it to our
FTP server for safe keeping.
If you should experience a server crash and it is determined that the data
is damaged, our Helpdesk
personnel will have a current backup of your database to restore to your
system. We can backup
your database daily, weekly or monthly. You must have a high speed
internet connection to
participate in this program. If you purchase Helpdesk, (ABU)
is included in the Helpdesk price.
