Although our products are highly reliable, sometimes glitches and faults are unavoidable. That’s why we provide a Help Desk Support Plan for ongoing technical support that we believe is essential for the performance of your POS system.

Staying on track with your business plan and budget is important to you, that’s why we offer a support plan as a sound investment that not only preserves your software, but offers long-term peace of mind.

What We Offer

Phone Support: POS system operations, manager functions, tax rate changes and solutions for error messages. Our phone support staff is made up of a team of professional experts offering up to ½ an hour of basic programming and database changes per incident.

Manager Training: Schedule time with a member of our experienced training staff and meet in one of our training facilities for up to 2 hours of free POS system training per quarter.

Menu changes: Send us your simple menu changes two weeks in advance, and we’ll make them for you. Please note that this does not apply to more complex changes, or the whole menu.

Remote Support Through Vigilix: Vigilix is a remote support software that provides comprehensive security. Vigilix is one more step towards staying PCI compliant. Without a Help Desk Agreement, this service will be turned off and you will need to provide an alternate method for remote access.

Virtual Technician: Hosted monitoring that remotely monitors your server. We can proactively and safely monitor the Windows operating system and the POS system, then report back to our support staff for early detection. The system detects anomalies such as trouble with credit card batches, hardware issues and much more.

Antivirus: We provide and install antivirus software with each annual renewal of your Help Desk Agreement. Having an antivirus is vital even for day-to-day personal use of any software, and having it in place for your point of sale system is no different.

Honored Holidays: Christmas, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. Emergency help desk services are available on these days, any assistance provided on a holiday will be billable.

Non-covered items: Unauthorized program and database changes. Damage to the operating system and database due to user error, power outage, lightning, flood, fire, wind, virus, mis-operation, or additional customer applications.

** Antivirus will be loaded on supported devices only. Use of SSVT and related services are for MICROS products only.

*Programming and database changes up to 1/2 hour are covered. Projects requiring additional time will be billed at prevailing rates. Projects estimated to take more than 15 minutes, must be scheduled two weeks in advance.
